Palm-oil info event together with Milieudefensie

Join us for an interactive information evening about palm-oil. Why is it present in so many products? What problems is it causing? Are there alternatives? Learn what you can do to change things.

In Utrecht the event will take place in cinema ‘t Hoogt from 16:00 onwards. First the movie ‘Appetite for Destruction’ will be shown. It will give you an insight in the palm-oil industry, its local effects on communities and biodiversity and the implications thereof.
After the movie expert dr. Pita Verweij from the Copernicus Institute for Sustainable Development will give a presentation about the current state of biodiversity and ongoing research. There is ample time for questions and discussion afterwards.
