FFN WINNER Maggie Muurmans – Coastal Community Engagement program in Australia

On her “Coastal Community Engagement Program” three different opportunities are available for motivated students:

  • BeachCare: Assisting in the project management of a dune regeneration program including regeneration techniques and community consultation.
  • CoastEd: Assisting in the delivery of environmental education programs, resource development and session development. Creating connections with indigenous communities for CoastEd.
  • DuneWatch: Assisting in the project management of a citizen science program including data analysis and sharing on public data sharing sites.

All projects are located at the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. You can be considered for these positions if you can stay in Australia for a minimum of 2 months. You must be a social and outgoing person, confident speaker and willing to work in a hot and humid environment.
