Palm-oil info event together with Milieudefensie

Join us for an interactive information evening about palm-oil. Why is it present in so many products? What problems is it causing? Are there alternatives? Learn what you can do to change things.

In Amsterdam the event will take place in the Rialto cinema from 16:00 onwards. First the documentary ‘Appetite for destruction’ will be shown. You’ll get an insight in the palm-oil industry, its effects on local communities and the health implications.

After the movie a video message from Dirk-Jan Oudshoorn and Alexandra Vosmaer and a presentation from Farwiza Farhan (FFN Laureate 2016) will be driving an interactive discussion about palm-oil and its alternatives. Dirk-Jan, Alexandra and Farwiza deal with the palm-oil issue in Indonesia on a daily basis, so you can ask them all your burning questions!
