Future For Nature Academy joins Boskalis Beach Cleanup 2018

Together team Future For Nature Academy cleans the beach!
Looking for a fun summer activity that also allows you to help out nature a bit? Join Future For Nature Academy for the Boskalis Beach Cleanup Tour 2018! Together with an enthusiastic team of FFN Aacademy volunteers, you can all contribute to a clean Dutch coastline while at the same time spending a good day at the beach. We will be joining Stichting de Noordzee and Boskalis for the cleanup session in between Hoek van Holland and Monster, a very nice beach that could really use our help!
When?
Our cleanup efforts will take place on Friday August 10th from 10.00 onwards.
What?
Together with Stichting de Noordzee and other volunteers, we will have a beautiful walk of about 8 kilometers on the beach. On our way, we will all collect as much litter as we can find, using our grabbing sticks and garbage bags. Half way we will stop for lunch (do not forget to bring some) and after we finish, the organisers will announce how much litter we managed to collect. Then it’s time to have a drink to celebrate another cleaned beach!
What does the programme look like?
9.45 am FFN Academy crew present (at Beachclub Royal, Hoek van Holland)
10.00 am coffee and briefing by Stichting de Noordzee (the North Sea Foundation)
10.30 am group picture and kick-off
12.30 am – 1.00 pm time for lunch
3.00 pm – 5.00 pm estimated finish and announcing how many kilos we collected (Bondi Beach, Monster)
around 5.00 – arranged transport by bus back to start
