Are you a young future conservationist? Are you still looking for your way in? Are you doubting which skills outside your studies are important?
Come and join us on November 22nd for a cosy discussion with Partnership Developer for Borneo Nature Foundation (BNF) Jorian Hendriks, and PhD candidate Lydia Cornu.
Jorian will share his story of carrying out independent research on dragonflies in the Central Kalimantan in Borneo with the help of BNF and why he continues to work as a Partnership Developer for BNF.
Lydia will talk about her experiences of working as a field biologist on the project for Monitoring Greenland Ecosystems and how that has helped her in becoming a PhD candidate here at WUR and working on biodiversity resilience.
These young professionals will share their trials and errors in their journey and the skills they found to be extremely useful. There will be plenty of time for your questions, therefore come along and let’s make the path towards your career in conservation a little clearer.
