Nijmegen centrum Clean-up

The inappropriate disposal and accumulation of plastic waste in our natural and urban environments is prominently affecting global water systems, wildlife, and humans. Just recently, research has revealed that plastic not only enters wildlife food chains, but also into our own – in which health effects are not yet fully understood.

Therefore, the Future For Nature Academy Nijmegen will be gathering in Kronenburger Park Nijmegen on November 11th, 2018 between 14.00 – 17.00, to raise awareness to the widespread impact of plastic waste and CLEANUP our local environment. Special attention will be paid to cigarette litter’s direct impact on the environment, and their productions hand in the intensive usage of water, land and energy.
